The program features art in all its diversity and originality, with poetry readings, concerts, salsa, performances and fashion shows, to discover even more incredible artists. Since the beginning of the 20th century, the Salon d’Automne has sought to offer a new perspective on the way art is created, according to the different eras, and in opposition to traditional art. It has thus been a privileged witness to the avant-garde movements of Fauvism, Surrealism and Cubism.

Rooted in this prestigious past, the show continues today to bring together artists from all over the world, of forty different nationalities, as well as some 30,000 curious visitors. No hierarchy is established between the different arts, allowing them to exhibit with equal freedom, in 20 artistic sections (architecture, digital art, engraving, photography, sculpture, etc.). For this 120th anniversary, the artists are expecting you in large numbers.

EVOLUTION

Paintings by Terri Broughton 2019 – 2022

ÂŁ20 inc P&P

An art catalogue filled with a large number of original works in full colour.

My Story

For 30 years I wrestled with two opposing forces: a deep desire to paint, and the belief that I was not a painter, a label given to me in childhood. Instead I diverted my energy into ceramics, art therapy and teaching.

Painting after all those years is like throwing open the windows of an old, dark house and filling it with light and revitalising air.

COLLECTION

Indivisible

The title of this collection, Indivisible, is a reference to me and my two sisters, Sandra and Julie.

Following the death of both parents, we were separated at an early age, living in a number of different foster homes.

Somehow, we were always inextricably connected: separate but one.
